Hey hey – Quick post today letting you know about a free financial summit taking place next week that I will be a part of 🙂

Maria from Handful of Thoughts has put together this awesome summit geared towards Canadian women.  If that name sounds familiar, it’s because Maria was guest #19 in our FIRE Community Guest Interview Series.  Maria is a fellow Albertan, mom to two young kiddos, a teacher, a real estate investor, and she and her family are well on their way to FI. You can check out her interview here if you’d like to learn more about Maria’s story.

Before moving on with more info on the summit, I’d like to thank Maria for mailing out a hand written note expressing her thanks for taking part in this summit.  This is a small gesture that meant a lot to me, so I wanted to highlight that and let you (Maria) know I appreciated the note.

This summit is specifically geared for Canadian ladies!  Woohoo! So ladies, listen up.  (Men too of course are welcome to join or to please pass along to any females in their lives – partner, parents, kids, neighbours, friends, colleagues – you get the idea.)

The Women Can Money Summit is taking place May 11-13, 2022 and like the other summits I’ve be a part of, this summit is FREE for the first 24 hours.  What this means is the videos published on May 11 will be free for the first 24 hours, then the May 12th line up is free for the next 24 hours, and finally the May 13th sessions will be available for free for the last 24 hours.  If you feel like you cannot watch all the videos in time, you can pay for the VIP pass which gives you access to all the sessions anytime, along with a few other bonus items as well.

The Women Can Money Summit includes 17 Canadian women who are sharing such great financial wisdom on various topics. Each session is ~30 minutes long. I’m honoured to be included with these rock star presenters. Seriously, go check it out! I’ll be talking about practical tips for saving money as a family.

The summit is a virtual casual set up where you can stream at our own pace, in your pjs, all curled up on your couch.  So get that notebook ready for some tips that can hopefully save you thousands of dollars a year.

May 11th is fast approaching, so make sure you get registered now!

Maria wrote up a fantastic post on her website with tons of more details so head over there if you want to find out more info such as:

  • What does the speaker line-up look like?
  • What does the daily schedule look like? (Our session will air on May 12th)
  • What is the VIP All Access Pass and what bonuses come with it?

Hope to see you ladies there!  If you have any questions about the summit please feel free to comment below.
